Microsoft Live Meeting's biggest difference from the competitor in the web conferencing market is the necessity to install a software in the host machine. For small and medsize companies should opt to online service and only enterprise-size businesses should opt to have a local server installation.
The Live Meeting client installation is pretty easy and fast. Once in a meeting the layout is clean and intuitive, composed mostly by button and icons like the other Microsoft Office tools.

One of the key features that has improved since the last version is the ability to record/playback meetings. In the last version only the host could record the session, however in the 2007 version the host can give any participant the right to record and download the session to a local machine.
Another improvement was the content search. Microsoft is always trying to make the search better for its products. It still doesn't have the ability to search for audio tracks and video streamings, but in recente news they said they are working on that for the next update.
Microsoft RoundTable is an cam which give a 360-degree view of the conference room. It was developed to be used with Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 and Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007. RoundTable brings a high-quality audio and video that follow the conversation among multiple speakers, tracking the active speaker.
